У статті йдеться про застосування пілатесу для відновлення
рухомості у суглобах хребта жінок похилого віку. Розглядаються особливості
цього виду фітнесу, його основні принципи, завдання, оздоровчий вплив.
Надається пояснення процесам, які відбуваються у суглобах хребта у зв'язку із
старінням. Розглядаються методи оцінки рухомості суглобів хребта.
Описується організація дослідження, наводяться показники рухомості у
суглобах хребта до та після застосування занять пілатесом. Тhe article is about the application of Pilates to restore mobility in the
joints of spine of elderly women. The main features of this kind of gymnastics, its
basic principles - relaxation, concentration, coordination, alignment, breath, fluidity
of movement, centering and stamina – objectives and health effects are discussed.
The explanation of the processes, which occur in the joints of spine in connection
with aging is also provided. It is possible to slow them down or to restore some of the
lost functions thanks to an active lifestyle, physical activity increase, different
methods of physical culture and sports usage, including classes by Pilates system.
The strengthening of skeleton and torso distinguishes Pilates from other types of
exercises. Pilates is the system which combines stretching and exercises for skeleton
strengthening the in the same complex. We used visual methods of evaluation to determine the mobility of spine joints.
The evaluation carries out according to the quality criteria (poor, average, above
average, good, excellent, etc. joint mobility) or via a points system. Seven-point
visual rating of the development of spine flexibility is applied. Organization of
research is described, the indicators of mobility in the joints of spine before and after
the application of Pilates are provided. The results of Pilates influence on spinal
joints flexibility are analyzed. According to the research, the mobility of spinal joints
of elderly women has improved in a considerable extend. Thus, a positive influence
of Pilates on a particular group of women has been got. Can be concluded that Pilates
may be used by the elderly, for whom it is difficult to find another more effective but
at the same time sparing wellness program with so many benefits for health. The
research has to be continued in a direction of the most effective complexes of
physical exercises development and methods of influence on elderly people’s bodies
for the restoration of reduced functions and the improvement of life quality studying. |
