ОБ’ЄКТИВАЦІЯ ПЕСИМІСТИЧНОЇ ТА ОПТИМІСТИЧНОЇ ТОНАЛЬНОСТЕЙ У ВІРШАХ АФРО-АМЕРИКАНСЬКИХ ПОЕТІВ ХХ – ХХІ СТОЛІТТЯ

Abstract

Стаття присвячена вивченню засобів об‟єктивації песимістичної та оптимістичної тональностей у поетичних текстах афро-американських літераторів ХХ-ХХІ століть. Наведено приклади заміни песимістичного емотивного маркування лінгвокультурем на оптимістичне, що робить можливим перепрограмування стереотипного сприймання чорношкірої людини. Виділено зразки еволюціонування символіки кольорів, що створює основу для заміни старих стереотипів новими. Статья посвящена изучению средств объективации пессимистической и оптимистической тональностей в поэтических текстах афроамериканских литераторов ХХ-ХХІ столетий. Приведены примеры замены пессимистического эмотивного маркирования лингвокультурем на оптимистическое, что делает возможным перепрограммирование стереотипного восприятия чернокожего человека. Выделено образцы эволюционирования символики цвета, что создаѐт основу для замены старых стереотипов новыми. The article deals with the means of objectifying pessimistic and optimistic tonalities in AfroAmerican poetic texts of XX-XXI centuries. Poetic texts are taken as the sources of illustrative material in this research, the language resources used in them being viewed as arguably having a greater potential of mirroring subtle ethnic characteristics when compared with those used in prose. The social significance of modern Afro-American poetry is dwelt on, and examples of changing pessimistic emotive marking of linguoculturemes into optimistic are given, these changes making it possible to reform the stereotypes of black man‟s perception. The instances of colour symbolism evolution are singled out, such evolution creating the background for converting the old stereotypes into the new ones. Building up experience in studying the linguistic means of reflecting ethno-cultural meanings is viewed as important in terms of researching the peculiar features of the complicated mutual ethnic influence in the developing multicultural communities.
