У статті проаналізовані концептуальні зв'язки орієнтаційної опозиції "верх/низ" із дихотомічним концептом ГОРДИНЯ/СМИРЕННЯ, сформованим у колективній свідомості східних слов'ян під впливом християнської релігії.
The conceptual relations of the orientation opposition "top / bottom" with dichotomous concept of PRIDE / HUMILITY, which was formed in the collective consciousness of the eastern Slavs under the influence of the Christian religion are analyzed.
