    У статті розглядається ядро англосаксонської концептосистеми, вказуються причини та передумови виникнення когнітивного середовища, що визначило формування базових англосаксонських (британських) концептів. Робляться висновки про вплив культурних та історичних факторів на концептуальну мережу етносу. The article highlights the nucleus of Anglo-Saxon conceptual system, points out reasons and prerequisites of the cognitive environment establishment and its impact on the formation of basic Anglo-Saxon (British) concepts. Conclusions of the influence of cultural and historic factors on the conceptual sphere of the nation are drawn.
