    Актуальність кваліфікаційної роботи полягає в тому, що науковий дискурс щодо розвитку освіти дівчат має значення для загального розуміння історії українського народу, історії жіноцтва, вивчення проблем функціонування роздільних закладів освіти, усвідомлення ставлення до жінки в суспільстві, її виховання. Тому дослідження питання жіночої освіти в Херсонській губернії наприкінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ століття має значне пізнавальне, наукове та практичне значення, адже саме заклади жіночої освіти створили передумови для формування нової генерації жінок у регіоні. Перший розділ роботи присвячений обґрунтуванню теоретичних основ дослідження розвитку освіти на Херсонщині. Другий розділ характеризує особливості трансформації освіти дівчат Херсонської губернії у кінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ століття. The relevance of the qualification work is that the scientific discourse on the development of girls' education is important for a general understanding of the history of the Ukrainian people, women's history, studying the problems of separate educational institutions, awareness of women's attitudes in society, her upbringing. Therefore, the study of women's education in the Kherson province in the late nineteenth - early twentieth century has significant cognitive, scientific and practical significance, because it is women's education institutions have created the conditions for the formation of a new generation of women in the region. The first section of the work is devoted to substantiation of theoretical bases of research of development of education in the Kherson region. The second section characterizes the peculiarities of the transformation of girls' education in the Kherson province in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
