    Географічне положення є фундаментальною категорією географічною науки. Магістерська робота присвячена питанням методики дослідження та кількісної оцінки географічного положення. В роботі застосовано картографічний метод дослідження, кількісні методи оцінки географічного положення, метод визначення центрів явищ та їх просторові та часові зміни. В кваліфікаційній роботі проаналізовано сучасний досвід оцінки географічного положення. Проаналізовано просторові особливості зміни географічного положення регіонів Херсонської області. Geographical location is a fundamental category of geographical science. The master's thesis is devoted to research methods and quantitative assessment of geographical location. The paper uses a cartographic method of research, quantitative methods of assessing the geographical location, the method of determining the centers of phenomena and their spatial and temporal changes. The qualifying work analyzes the current experience of assessing the geographical location. Spatial features of changes in the geographical position of the regions of Kherson region are analyzed.
