    Дослідження присвячене аналізу діяльності Центрального розвідувального управління США у період Холодної війни (1947–1991 рр.) як ключового інструменту зовнішньої політики та національної безпеки. Розглянуто процес створення, структуру та функції ЦРУ, його роль у стратегії стримування СРСР, а також участь у міжнародних конфліктах і прихованих операціях у різних регіонах світу. Особливу увагу приділено впливу розвідувальної діяльності на політичні процеси, міжнародну стабільність та формування глобального балансу сил. Оцінено ефективність діяльності ЦРУ та її наслідки для США і світової системи. / The study examines the activities of the Central Intelligence Agency during the Cold War (1947–1991) as a key instrument of U.S. foreign policy and national security. It explores the origins, structure, and functions of the CIA, as well as its role in the strategy of containing the Soviet Union. The research highlights covert operations, intelligence gathering, and involvement in international conflicts across different regions. Special attention is given to the impact of intelligence activities on political processes, global stability, and the balance of power. The effectiveness of the CIA and its long-term consequences for the United States and the international system are also evaluated.
