    Актуальність теми полягає у визнанні сексуальності як невід’ємної частини людського життя, що забезпечує психологічно обґрунтоване статеве просвітництво та є важливим у формуванні сексуальної культури суспільства. У теоретичній частині розкрито психосексуальний розвиток особистості та його стадії; визначено роль і значення батьків і вихователів у психосексуальному розвитку підлітків. Емпіричне дослідження засвідчує наявність кореляційного взаємозв’язку між рівнем розвитку інтелекту у підлітковій вибірці і рівнем усвідомлення сексуальності. The relevance of the topic is the recognition of sexuality as an integral part of human life, which provides a psychologically sound sexual education and is important for the formation of sexual culture in society. The theoretical part reveals the psychosexual development of personality and its stages; the role and importance of parents and educators in the psychosexual development of adolescents are determined. Empirical research shows that there is a correlation between the level of intelligence development in adolescence and the level of sexual awareness.
