    ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ ІСТОРИКО-КУЛЬТУРНОЇ ТА АРХЕОЛОГІЧНОЇ СПАДЩИНИ ХЕРСОНА

    У роботі здійснено спробу проаналізувати історико-культурну та археологічну спадщину на основі особистих досліджень підземель і катакомб Херсона. У роботі визначено тематичну спрямованість праць українських дослідників з даного напряму дослідження; охарактеризовано роботи, що стосуються історико-культурної та археологічної спадщини Херсона; розглянуто повідомлення у періодичній пресі кінця XIX – початку XX ст.; опрацьовані картографічні джерела, що стосувалися пошуків входів і виходів з катакомб; зроблені особисті розвідки в херсонських підземеллях; проведені розчищення знайдених підземель; сформована 3D модель розчищених кімнат; знайдені і задокументовані артефакти, що відносяться до різних часів від XVIII до середини XX ст. The paper attempts to analyze the historical, cultural and archaeological heritage on the basis of personal research of the dungeons and catacombs of Kherson. The paper defines the thematic orientation of the works of Ukrainian researchers in this area of research; characterizes the works related to the historical, cultural and archaeological heritage of Kherson; considers the reports in the periodicals of the late XIX - early XX centuries; cartographic sources related to the search for entrances and exits from the catacombs were processed; personal explorations in the Kherson dungeons were made; the found dungeons were cleared; a 3D model of the cleared rooms was formed; artifacts dating from different times from the XVIII to the mid-20th century were found and documented.

    Стаття присвячена дослідженню дореволюційних джерел з історії підземель і катакомб Херсона наприкінці XIX – початку XX ст. У місцевій періодичній пресі залишилось багато задокументованих згадок про їхнє місцерозташування. Це цінне джерело відомості за допомогою якого можна визначити місця входу у підземелля і катакомби. У статті зроблена спроба систематизувати, типологізувати та класифікувати підземні приміщення Херсона оскільки це важливий крок до їхнього подальшого знаходження та дослідження з метою розкрити невідомі сторінки історії нашого міста The article is devoted to the study of pre-revolutionary sources on the history of dungeons and catacombs of Kherson in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This is a valuable source of information that can be used to determine the places of entrance to dungeons and catacombs. The article attempts to systematize, typologize, and classify the underground premises of Kherson as it is an important step towards their further discovery and research in order to reveal unknown pages of the history of our city.
