    В умовах сьогодення тероризм являє серйозну загрозу безпеці світової спільноти і нашої держави, зокрема. Важлива роль у боротьбі з тероризмом приділяється проблемам розслідування вчинених терористичних актів. Мета роботи полягає в тому, щоб на основі сучасних наукових досліджень науки криміналістики проаналізувати окремі елементи криміналістичної характеристики терористичного акту (способи вчинення, особу злочинця та слідову картину), розглянути особливості розслідування терористичних актів та тактику окремих слідчих дій, що проводяться на початковому етапі розслідування (огляду місця події, допиту потерпілого і свідків, призначення судових експертиз). At the present time terrorism is a serious threat to the world`s community and for our country in particular. An important role against terrorism is given to the problems of investigating terrorist acts. The purpose of this work is to analyze certain elements of the forensic characteristics of a terrorist act (methods of commission, the identity of the offender and the trace), to consider the features of the investigation of terrorist acts and tactics of individual investigative actions carried out at the initial stage of the investigation (inspection of the scene, interrogation of the victim and witnesses, appointment of forensic examinations).
