Dedicated to a systematic analysis of the types of opposition to the investigation of violations of budget legislation and the ways in which the investigator can overcome such opposition The essence of the concept of counteraction to the investigation is revealed in the work; a detailed classification of types of counteraction is provided; the analysis of scientific works of experts in this field is carried out; provided specification of types of crimes in the budget sphere and analysis of the personality of the economic criminal and its specifics; suggested ways and means by which the investigator can overcome the opposition.
