The work contains a theoretical and methodological substantiation of the problem of forming logical-mathematical competence in senior preschool children through the exploration of the natural environment using the innovative technology of Dienes blocks, outlining theoretical aspects, highlighting methodological and practical applications in the practice of modern preschool education.
