    У статті розглянуто проблему вербалізації у мові явищ ментального характеру. Проаналізовано фразеологічні одиниці з на позначення рівня інтелекту людини, з’ясовано специфічні риси менталітету українського етносу в аспекті оцінного сприйняття дійсності носіями культури. The article considers the problem of verbalization of mental phenomena in speech. Analysis of Phraseological units on denoting the level of human intellect were analyzed, the specific features of the mentality of the Ukrainian people in terms of evaluative perception of reality by culture bearers were found out.
