    Кваліфікаційну роботу присвячено дослідженню мовних явищ компресії та надмірності як характерних тенденцій розмовного стилю й специфіки їх перекладу. Мовна компресія традиційно розглядається як обумовлене законом мовної економії, вимогами жанру, особливостями інформаційного носія спрощення поверхневої структури тексту. Протиставлення «економія – надмірність» є тим загальним принципом, на основі якого сучасні науковці прагнуть пояснювати найважливіші процеси розвитку й функціонування мови. The qualification work focuses on the study of linguistic phenomena of reduction and redundancy as characteristic tendencies of conversational style and specifics of their translation. Linguistic reduction is traditionally considered to be due to the law of linguistic economy, genre requirements, features of the information carrier simplification of the surface structure of the text. The opposition “economy – redundancy” is the general principle on the basis of which modern scholars seek to explain the most important processes of development and functioning of language.
