    Стаття присвячена дослідженню макротопоніміки Миколаївської області. За результатами дослідження створено класифікацію топонімів, що відображає особливості назвотворення в Миколаївській області. The article is devoted to the study of macrotoponymy of the Mykolaiv region. According to the results of the research, a classification of toponymswas created, which reflects peculiarities of the naming of the Mykolaiv region.

    Кваліфікаційну роботу присвячено дослідженню макротопонімів Миколаївської області. Проаналізовано стан вивчення топонімів та розглянуто підходи до їх класифікації. Описано ойконіми і гідроніми регіону та з’ясовано способи їх творення. Визначено вплив природньо-географічних, історичних і соціально-культурних процесів на формування найменувань області. За результатами дослідження створено класифікацію ойконімів і гідронімів Миколаївщини. Запропоновано заходи з популяризації топонімічних знань через розвиток туристично-рекреаційної сфери області. The qualification work is devoted to the study of macrotoponyms of Mykolaiv Region. The state of the study of toponyms and actual approaches to their classification were analyzed. The oikonyms and hydronyms of the region were described and the methods of their creation were clarified. The influence of natural geographical, historical and sociocultural processes on the formation of the names of the region were determined. Based on the results of the study, a classification of oikonyms and hydronyms of Mykolaiv Region were created. Measures were proposed to popularize toponymic knowledge through the development of the tourist and recreational sphere of the region.
