Специфіка еліптичних конструкцій визначена через зв'язок із експресивною тенденцією, притаманною для української та російської мов. In the article the problems, grounded on the interest of modern linguistic science to the cognitive and pragmatic aspect of the expressiveness are researched. The specificity of elliptic constructions is defined through the connection with the expressive tendency, which is typical for Ukrainian and Russian languages.
