    У роботі здійснено спробу проаналізувати внесок українських історикинь кінця ХХ – початку ХХІ ст. у вивчення історії Півдня України; визначено тематичну спрямованість праць українських дослідниць; охарактеризовано роботи, що стосуються політичної та військової історії; розглянуто дослідження, що пов’язані з адміністративно-територіальним устроєм; досліджено роботи українських історикинь, що присвячені соціальним та економічним аспектам життя населення; проаналізовано дослідження історикинь, що стосуються культурного та духовного розвитку населення та складено бібліографічний перелік праць, українських дослідниць, присвячених історії Півдня України. In the work, an attempt was made to analyze the contribution of Ukrainian historians of the late 20th and early 21st centuries in the study of the history of Southern Ukraine; the thematic orientation of the works of Ukrainian researchers is determined; works relating to political and military history are characterized; studies related to the administrative-territorial system were considered; the works of Ukrainian historians devoted to the social and economic aspects of the life of the population were studied; the research of female historians related to the cultural and spiritual development of the population was analyzed and a bibliographic list of the works of Ukrainian researchers devoted to the history of Southern Ukraine was compiled.

    У статті аналізується розвиток національної освіти різних народів на півдні України наприкінці XVІІІ – на початку ХХ ст. Головний акцент робиться на висвітленні особливостей робіт істориків та педагогів, присвячених цій темі. Зазначаються питання, які потребують подальшого доопрацювання та вивчення. The article analyzes the development of national education of various peoples in southern Ukraine in the late 18th - early 20th centuries. The main emphasis is on highlighting the features of the works of historians and educators devoted to this topic. Issues that require further development and study are indicated.
