Важливу роль у формуванні професійних компетентностей відіграє рівень підготовленості майбутніх спеціалістів на початковому етапі їх навчання у професійному закладі. Вирішенням цієї проблеми може бути реалізація у закладах освіти принципу наступності суть якого полягає в умінні учнів самостійно мислити і застосовувати раніше набуті знання на практиці. Необхідність дотримання неперервності у навчанні особливо проявляється при вивченні фундаментальних дисциплін, зокрема фізики, оскільки цей курс закладів загальної середньої освіти забезпечує основу для вивчення дисциплін, що вивчаються на етапі передвищої освіти. The problem of professional higher education is relevant today and not sufficiently studied. An important role in the formation of professional competencies is played by the level of training of future specialists at the initial stage of their training in a professional institution. The solution to this problem can be the implementation in educational institutions of the principle of continuity, the essence of which is the ability of students to think independently and apply previously acquired knowledge in practice. The need for continuity in education is especially evident in the study of fundamental disciplines, in particular physics, as this course of general secondary education provides a basis for the study of disciplines studied at the stage of higher education.
