    У статті представлено фрагмент опису лінгвокультурного типажу середньовічного аскета, рефреймованого давньоруською християнською культурою. Втрата релігійних смислів концепту АСКЕТ у діахронії призводить до суттєвих трансформацій у його інформаційному полі. This article concerns a fragment describing the linguistic, cultural and visual facial features of the medieval ascetic. These features were a re-working of pre-medieval ideas of the ascetic. In diachrony dropping the religious from the concept of ASCETICS leads to a transformation in the sense of the concept.
