    У статті аналізується взаємозв'язок між бальною хореографією та естетикою краси в романі Едмона Ростана "Сирано де Баржерак". Розглянуто сцени бальних танців як ключовий момент у романі, де висвітлено поняття краси в різних аспектах. The article analyzes the relationship between ballroom choreography and aesthetics of beauty in Edmond Rostan's novel Cyrano de Bargerac. The scenes of ballroom dancing are considered as a key moment in the novel, which highlights the concept of beauty in variousaspects.

    Хореографія на сцені в сучасному виконавському мистецтві є однією з найбільш популярних форм професійної діяльності. В світі літератури та мистецтва питання про ідеал людської краси завжди було актуальним, викликаючи неабияке захоплення та суперечності. Це завдання виявляється складним не лише через індивідуальний підхід до сприйняття краси, але й через пошук тих елементів, які уособлюють ідеал в різних культурних контекстах. У романі "Сірано де Бержерак" французького письменника Едмона Ростана, це питання не тільки висувається на передній план, але і вирішується за допомогою вражаючих засобів виразності, зокрема бальної хореографії. Роман «Сірано де Бержерак» не лише стає своєрідним лабіринтом пошуку ідеалу, але й відкриває перед читачем захоплюючий світ емоцій, що переплітаються з високим мистецтвом танцю. Бальна хореографія, в даному випадку, виступає не тільки як декоративний елемент, але й як ключовий засіб вираження внутрішніх конфліктів та невизначеності у пошуках краси./ Choreography on stage in modern performing arts is one of the most popular forms of professional activity. In the world of literature and art, the question of the ideal of human beauty has always been relevant, causing considerable admiration and controversy. This task turns out to be difficult not only because of the individual approach to the perception of beauty, but also because of the search for those elements that embody the ideal in different cultural contexts. In the novel “Cyrano de Bergerac” by the French writer Edmond Rostan, this question is not only brought to the fore, but also resolved with the help of impressive means of expression, in particular, ballroom choreography. The novel “Cyrano de Bergerac” not only becomes a kind of labyrinth in the search of an ideal, but also opens up to the reader a fascinating world of emotions intertwined with the high art of dance. Ballroom choreography, in this case, acts not only as a decorative element, but also as a key means of expressing internal conflicts and uncertainty in the search for beauty.
