    Робота присвячена визначенню та аналізу видового різноманіття аерофітних водоростей вікових дерев Херсонщини. Аерофітні водорості є однією з найменш вивчених екологічних груп водоростей. Найпоширенішими форофітами для аерофітних водоростей є вікові дерева. У дендрофлорі Херсонщини ряд вікових дерев мають унікальну екологічну та естетичну цінність, а тому потребують ретельного вивчення всіх факторів впливу: біотичних, абіотичних, антропогенних. Саме тому дослідження є актуальним. The research work is dedicated to the definition and analysis of species variety of age-old trees’ aerophytic algae of Kherson region. Aerophytic algae is one of the least investigated ecological groups of algae. The most common phorophytes for aerophytic algae are age-old trees. There are many age-old trees in the dendroflora of Kherson region wich have an unique ecological and aesthetic value, therefore therefore it is necessary to explore in detail all factors of influence: biotic, abiotic, anthropogenic. That is why the research work is relevant.

    The purpose of our investigation was the identification of differences in the species variety of epiphytic algae on the Quercus robur and Gleditsia triacanthos. In the result we have identified 8 species on the Quercus robur and 6 species on the Gleditsia triacanthos.
