    Актуальним питанням в освіті дітей з порушенням розумового розвитку є навчання математиці. Практично доведено, що дітям, які мають порушення інтелектуального розвитку складніше зрозуміти та вивчити математику. Саме позакласна робота дає можливість додатково відкрити для учнів математичний простір, який направлений цілеспрямовано на покращення засвоєння математичних знань та вмінь дітьми з особливими освітніми проблемами. Визначено завдання позакласних занять та їх вплив на знання, вміння та навички дітей з порушенням розумового розвитку. Підібрано спеціальні заняття для позакласної роботи, які можна впроваджувати на постійній основі. An important issue in the education of children with intellectual disabilities is the teaching of mathematics. It is practically proven that it is more difficult for children with intellectual disabilities to understand and learn mathematics. It is extracurricular activities that provide an opportunity to further open the mathematical space for students, which aims to improve the acquisition of mathematical knowledge and skills by children with special educational problems. The tasks of extracurricular activities and their impact on the knowledge, skills and abilities of children with intellectual disabilities are identified. Selected special classes for extracurricular activities that can be implemented on a regular basis.
