Розкрито теоретичні та практичні аспекти проблеми формування читацької компетентності здобувачів початкової освіти у сучасних кризових умовах. Визначено, що використання програмового матеріалу інтегрованого курсу ЯДС сприяє підвищенню формування читацької компетентності здобувачів шляхом систематичного наповнення змісту тем матеріалами читацького спрямування. Розроблено рекомендації для вчителів щодо використання читацького змісту у контексті вивчення інтегрованого курсу ЯДС / The work substantiates effective forms, methods and means of developing reading competence of primary school students in the integrated course of the IEW. The theoretical and practical aspects of the problem of forming reading competence of primary school students in modern crisis conditions are revealed. It is determined that the use of program material of the integrated course of the IEW contributes to the improvement of the formation of reading competence of students by systematically filling the content of topics with materials of a reading orientation. Recommendations for teachers on the use of reading content in the context of studying the integrated course of the IEW are developed
