    Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на теоретичне та практичне дослідження процесу перейменування топонімів Херсона та аналізі результатів опитувань містян про перейменування об’єктів. У роботі визначаються основні підходи до перейменування топонімів, описується історичний контекст перейменування вулиць, характеризуються соціально-культурні та політичні чинники процесу перейменування, розглядаються історичні етапи перейменувань, аналізуються результати опитувань про перейменування вулиць. / The qualifying paper focused on the theoretical and practical study of the renaming process of toponyms in Kherson and the analysis of survey results regarding residents' opinions on renaming objects. The study identifies the main approaches to renaming toponyms, describes the historical context of street renaming, characterizes the socio-cultural and political factors of the renaming process, examines the historical stages of renaming, and analyzes the survey results on street renaming.
