    Місце України на глобальному агропродовольчому ринку визначається кількістю експортоорієнтованих галузей та обсягом і вартістю їх продукції. У цьому контексті особливої уваги заслуговують реальні і потенційні експортоорієнтовані галузі сільського господарства, зокрема, бджільництво, оскільки Україна входить до п’ятірки найбільших виробників меду за обсягом валового виробництва і рівнем споживання цього продукту. З метою визначення можливості розвитку галузі бджільництва постає необхідність у дослідженні її сучасного стану, визначені факторів, які впливають на розвиток та основних причин, які його стримують, а також у розробці пріоритетних напрямів розвитку даної галузі. Ukraine's place in the global agri-food market is determined by the number of export-oriented industries and the volume and value of their products. In this context, the real and potential export-oriented sectors of agriculture, in particular beekeeping, deserve special attention, as Ukraine is one of the five largest producers of honey in terms of gross production and consumption of this product. In order to determine the possibility of development of the beekeeping industry, there is a need to study its current state, identify factors that affect development and the main reasons that constrain it, as well as to develop priority areas for development of this industry.
