Початок 20 століття ознаменувався виникненням нової мови рухів, нової хореографії, нового лексичного модуль, що одержав назву танець модерн. У прагненні до повної незалежності від класичної традиції представники модерну, зрештою, прийняли окремі технічні прийоми, оскільки, повний відхід від традиційних балетних форм на практиці не міг бути до кінця реалізований. Власне новий напрямок і зародився у протиборстві класичних традицій та прагненні до повної незалежності від них. Робота розглядає особливості стилю модерн, яким розкрито екологічні проблеми людства, висвітлено особливості сценічного втілення хореографічної композиції. The beginning of the 20th century was marked by the emergence of a new language of movements, a new choreography, a new lexical module called modern dance. In the pursuit of complete independence from the classical tradition, the representatives of modernism, in the end, adopted some techniques, because the complete departure from traditional ballet forms in practice could not be fully realized. Actually, a new direction was born in the confrontation of classical traditions and the desire for complete independence from them. The work considers the peculiarities of the Art Nouveau style, which revealed the ecological problems of mankind, highlights the peculiarities of the stage embodiment of the choreographic composition.
ШЕКСПІРІВСЬКІ ОБРАЗИ В БАЛЕТАХ ДЖОНА НАЙМАЙЕРА

Дана кваліфікаційна робота присвячена дослідженню постаті сучасного німецького хореографа Джона Ноймайєра, який народився 1942 році в Америці, і вже довгий час міцно займає позиції лідера світової балетної сцени, а також його сюжетним балетам, які пов’язані з творами світової літератури, зокрема, з драматургією Шекспіра. В роботі зазначається, що Ноймайєр – єдиний хореограф, який звертався до шекспірівських сюжетів багато разів, протягом свого творчого шляху, його натхненне тлумачення та хореографічне бачення таких різних літературних першоджерел є нічим інакшим, як відстоюванням конкретної концепції балетної творчості, сюжетного балету великої форми, наділеного глибоким, нерідко філософсько-ліричним змістом. Шість п’єс великого Шекспіра («Ромео і Джульєтта», «Гамлет», Сон в літню ніч», «Отело», «Дванадцята ніч», «Як вам це сподобається») були поставлені прославленим хореографом.Також докладно розглядаються особливості вищезазначених постановок. Натхненно трактуючи відомі шекспірівські твори в хореографічному прочитанні, Ноймайєр надає шекспірівським героям і конфліктам вихід в сучасність, відгук на ритм життя та проблеми сучасного світу/ This qualification work is dedicated to the exploration of the figure of the contemporary German choreographer John Neumeier, born in 1942 in America, who has long held a prominent position on the global ballet stage. The focus is on his narrative ballets, particularly those connected to works of world literature, notably the dramas of Shakespeare. The paper notes that Neumeier is the only choreographer who has turned to Shakespearean plots multiple times throughout his creative journey. His inspired interpretation and choreographic vision of these diverse literary sources are nothing short of a defense of a specific concept of ballet creativity, a narrative ballet of grand form endowed with deep, often philosophical and lyrical content. Six of Shakespeare's major plays ("Romeo and Juliet," "Hamlet," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Othello," "Twelfth Night," "As You Like It") have been staged by the acclaimed choreographer. The features of these productions are also thoroughly examined. By interpretively approaching well-known Shakespearean works through choreography, Neumeier provides Shakespearean characters and conflicts with an entry into modernity, offering a response to the rhythm of life and the issues of the contemporary world.
