Стаття розглядає залежність перекладацької діяльності від історичних та суспільно-політичних умов, а також різні аспекти ролі перекладачів як в мирний, так і в воєнний час. Вона надає повне визначення поняття "військовий переклад" і виділяє його як специфічний вид міжкультурної комунікації, особливості якого стосуються військово- політичної, військово-технічної та військово-спеціальної сфер діяльності збройних сил. Дослідження також формулює вимоги до військового перекладача, як суб’єкта лінгвістичного-забезпечення війська з урахуванням його професійних компетенцій і моральних якостей. Стаття закликає до звернення уваги на ідеологічну складову перекладу та її роль у гібридних війнах, у яких інформація постає інструментом впливу на громадську думку. This article explores the dependence of translation activities on historical and socio-political conditions, as well as various aspects of the role of translators in both peacetime and wartime. It provides a comprehensive definition of the concept of "military translation" and distinguishes it as a specific type of intercultural communication, with its characteristics related to military-political, military-technical, and military-specialized areas of armed forces activities. The research also formulates the requirements for a military translator as a subject of linguistic support for the military, taking into account professional competence and moral qualities. The article emphasizes the ideological component of translation and its role in hybrid war, where information becomes a tool of influence on public opinion.

Дослідження зосереджується на аналізі перекладацьких умінь у контексті повоєнного відновлення економіки та суспільства. Робота розглядає специфіку цього періоду, визначає вплив соціально-економічних зрушень на потреби у сфері перекладу, а також розкриває ключові аспекти мовного посередництва в умовах відбудови. Особлива увага приділяється визначенню поняття й ролі військового перекладача та встановленню вимог до його професійної компетентності, враховано вплив культурних, історичних і політичних чинників на перекладацькі рішення й уміння мовного адаптування. Результати цього дослідження сприятимуть кращому розумінню важливості перекладацьких умінь у періоди соціально-економічних трансформацій та можуть послужити основою для подальших удосконалень у сфері професійного перекладу в контексті відновлення суспільства. The study focuses on the analysis of translation skills in the context of the post-war reconstruction of the economy and society. The work examines the specifics of this period, determines the impact of socio-economic changes on translation needs and also reveals the key aspects of language mediation in the context of reconstruction. Special attention is paid to defining the concept and role of a military translator and establishing requirements for his professional competence, taking into account the influence of cultural, historical and political factors on translation decisions and language adaptation skills. The results of this study will contribute to a better understanding of the importance of translation skills in periods of socio-economic transformations and may serve as a basis for further improvements in the field of professional translation in the context of societal reconstruction.
