The qualification work is dedicated to the comprehensive analysis of legal principles and practical mechanisms of international organizations in the system of ensuring global and regional security. The study reveals the evolution of the legal status of leading institutions, such as the UN, NATO and the OSCE, and assesses the effectiveness of their instruments in preventing and resolving armed conflicts. Special attention is paid to the challenges faced by the international security architecture in connection with the full-scale aggression carried out by Russia, which requires rethinking the effectiveness of the principle of collective security and reforming the decision-making system in international organizations. The author offers ways to improve the legal mechanisms of influence on offending states and justifies the need to strengthen the institutional capacity of organizations to maintain international law and order and peace.
