    Дипломна робота присвячена дослідженню можливостей та ефективності використання геоінформаційних систем (ГІС) у процесі викладання географії у загальноосвітніх школах. У роботі розглянуто теоретичні засади ГІС, сучасні цифрові освітні технології, методи інтеграції ГІС у навчальний процес, а також розроблено приклад уроку з використанням ГІС для розвитку просторового мислення учнів. Висвітлено роль цифрових інструментів, таких як QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth, у формуванні географічних та цифрових компетентностей учнів, а також проаналізовано проблеми та перспективи їхнього впровадження. Практичні результати роботи можуть бути використані вчителями географії, розробниками освітніх програм і цифрових ресурсів. The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the study of the possibilities and effectiveness of using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the process of teaching geography in secondary schools. The paper examines the theoretical foundations of GIS, modern digital educational technologies, methods for integrating GIS into the educational process, and also presents a sample lesson using GIS to develop students' spatial thinking. The role of digital tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth in shaping students' geographical and digital competencies is highlighted, along with an analysis of the challenges and prospects of their implementation. The practical outcomes of the research can be utilized by geography teachers, educational program developers, and creators of digital resources.
