    У роботі розглянуто психологічні особливості дітей з порушеннями інтелекту. З’ясовано вплив інтелектуальних порушень на розвиток психологічних функцій, пам’яті, мислення та мовлення. За допомогою експерименту було вивчено та проаналізовано адаптацію дітей з порушеннями інтелекту до школи за допомогою ряду методик, встановлено критерії соціально-психологічної адаптації дітей. У ході роботи було розроблено корекційно-розвиваючу програму для дітей, що мають низький рівень готовності до школи. Тhe psychological features of children with intellectual disabilities are considered in the work. The influence of intellectual disorders on the development of psychological functions, memory, thinking and speech has been clarified. With the help of the experiment the adaptation of children with intellectual disabilities to school was studied and analyzed with the help of a number of methods, the criteria of social and psychological adaptation of children were established. In the course of the work, a correctional and developmental program was developed for children with a low level of readiness for school.
