    Робота присвячена проблемі дискурсу новин у сучасних міжнародних комунікаціях. Актуальність теми обумовлена тим, що дослідження відбувається в руслі лінгвопрагматичного підходу. У роботі послідовно висвітлюються основні завдання дослідження, зокрема, визначено способи мовної репрезентації семантичних компонентів дискурсу новин, що функціонує в англомовному медіасередовищі; встановлено особливості представлення новин про війну в Україні у англомовному медіа просторі. The work is devoted to the problem of news discourse in modern international communications. The topicality of the topic is due to the fact that the research takes place in the direction of the linguopragmatic approach. The work consistently highlights the main tasks of the research, in particular, the methods of linguistic representation of the semantic components of news discourse functioning in the English-language media environment are determined; the peculiarities of presenting news about the war in Ukraine in the English-language media space have been established.
