    Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена актуальній проблемі перекладання англійськомовних газетних текстів, що нaбувaють oсoбливoгo знaчення як зaсiб впливу на масову і різну за віком аудиторію, яку потрібно залучити до отримання інформації. У роботі розглянуто такі лінгвістичні та перекладознавчі проблеми: лексико-стилістичні особливості газетних текстів; лексико-стилістичні та структурні особливості газетних заголовків; адаптація газетних текстів при перекладанні; особливості відтворення газетних заголовків у перекладі та пов’язані з цим труднощі. Матеріалом роботи слугують тексти сучасних британських та американських газет та їх українські переклади. The qualifing paper deals with topical issues of English-language newspaper texts rendering. Nowadays press is of particular importance as a means of influencing the mass and age-diverse audience that needs to be involved in obtaining information. The paper highlights the following linguistic and translational problems: lexical and stylistic features of newspaper texts; lexical, stylistic and structural peculiarities of newspaper headlines; newspaper texts adaptation while rendering; difficulties of newspaper headlines rendering. The research is based on the texts of modern British and American press and their Ukrainian translations.
