ДІЛОВОДНА ДОКУМЕНТАЦІЯ ВІЙСЬКОВО-АДМІНІСТРАТИВНИХ УСТАНОВ ЯК ДЖЕРЕЛО ДО ВИВЧЕННЯ РЕКРУТУВАННЯ ЄВРЕЙСЬКОГО НАСЕЛЕННЯ ВОЛИНСЬКОЇ ГУБЕРНІЇ В ХІХ СТ.

Мета. Статтю присвячено джерелознавчому аналізу діловодних документів з історії рекрутування єврейського населення Волині в ХІХ ст. Для досягнення мети використано загальнонаукові, історичні та джерелознавчі методи дослідження. Результати. Проаналізовано офіційний комплекс документів, що зберігаються в Центральному державному історичному архіві України, Державних архівах Волинської та Житомирської областей. Це накази, розпорядження, журнали та протоколи засідань, звіти, доповіді, акти й матеріали різних комісій, звернення, службове листування та інша інформаційно-довідкова документація установ, що свідчить про використання російською імперською владою рекрутчини як механізму асиміляції представників різних етносів, зокрема єврейського. Визначено інформаційний потенціал досліджених джерел щодо висвітлення таких питань: юридичного та організаційного забезпечення рекрутської повинності; особливостей виконання рекрутчини єврейським населенням як у загальнодержавному, так і в регіональному аспекті; місця й функцій центральних, регіональних і місцевих органів влади у проведенні рекрутських наборів із євреїв. Висновки. За документами державних архівів України можна простежити весь процес підготовки та проведення рекрутських наборів серед різних соціальних та етнічних груп як загалом у Російській імперії, так і на окремих рекрутських дільницях у Волинській губернії. Документи рекрутських присутствій, Канцелярії Київського, Подільського та Волинського генерал-губернатора дають змогу повною мірою висвітлити процес виконання рекрутської повинності єврейським населенням Волині та порівняти його з виконанням військової повинності представниками інших етносів губернії. Вони також є важливим джерелом для визначення наслідків впливу військового чинника на демографічне, соціальне, господарсько-економічне, релігійне та психологічне становище єврейських громад у ХІХ ст., підтверджують агресивну, насильницьку й асиміляторську політику російського самодержавства. Purpose. The article is devoted to the source analysis of business documents on the history of the recruitment of the Jewish population of Volyn in the XIX century. To achieve the goal general scientific, historical and source study methods of research are used in the work. Results. The study analyses the official set of documents stored in the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine, the State Archives of Volyn, Zhytomyr regions. These are orders, directives, journals and minutes of meetings, reports, reports, acts and materials of various commissions, appeals, official correspondence and other information and reference documents of institutions, etc., certifying the use of recruitment by the Russian imperial authorities as a mechanism for assimilation of different ethnic groups including Jewish. The information potential of the researched sources concerning coverage of the following issues is defined: legal and organizational support of conscription; features of recruitment by the Jewish population both in the national and regional aspects; the place and functions of central, regional and local authorities in the recruitment of Jews. Conclusions. According to the documents of the state archives of Ukraine, it is possible to trace the entire course of preparation and conduct of recruitment among various social and ethnic groups in general in the Russian Empire, as well as in some recruitment stations in the Volyn province. Documents of recruiting presences, the Offices of the Governor- General of Kyiv, Podolsk and Volyn allow us to fully cover the process of conscription by the Jewish population of Volyn and compare it with the military service of other ethnic groups in the province. They are also an important source for determining the effects of the military factor on the demographic, social, economic, religious and psychological situation of Jewish communities in the XIX century and confirm the aggressive and violent assimilation policy of the Russian autocracy.
ЗАСНУВАННЯ ТА ДІЯЛЬНІСТЬ ТОВАРИСТВА «ПРОСВІТА» НА ВОЛИНІ: ОГЛЯД СУЧАСНОЇ УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ІСТОРІОГРАФІЇ

Мета статті – проаналізувати стан наукової розробки становлення і діяльності просвітянських осередків на Волині у працях сучасних українських дослідників. Методи. Дослідження проведене на основі використання принципів історизму, об’єктивності та комплексності джерел із використанням методів: історіографічного аналізу та синтезу, проблемно-хронологічного, проблемно-ситуаційного та порівняльного. Результати. На основі зазначених принципів та методів було проаналізовано історіографічний доробок з історії товариства «Просвіта» на Волині. Огляд історіографії дозволив зробити висновок, що ця проблематика привертає увагу значної кількості науковців та краєзнавців, передусім із Луцька, Рівного та інших міст Західної України. Умовно основні праці (монографії, дисертації, наукові збірники та статті) поділено на дві групи: становлення та розвиток просвітянських осередків на Волині і напрями діяльності волинських «Просвіт». Серед першої групи варто відмітити дослідників В. Барана, М. Кучерепу, С. Пономаренко, Б. Савчука, Л. Стрільчук, М. Філіпович та ін., а у другій – О. Каліщук, Л. Понєдєльник, Т. Сладковську, Ю. Сороку та ін. На основі історіографічного аналізу встановлено, що більшість науковців наголошують на багатоаспектності діяльності волинських просвітянських осередків та важливості їх ролі у національно-культурному розвитку України. Висновки. Сучасні українські дослідники поглиблюють вивчення історії просвітянського руху в Україні. В останні роки зросла кількість праць з історії «Просвіти» у регіональному вимірі. Так, значний інтерес у науковців викликає проблематика становлення та напрямів діяльності просвітянських організацій на Волині. Аналіз та представлення авторами у дослідженнях форм та способів діяльності локальних просвітянських осередків сприяє просвітницькій роботі сучасних громадських організацій, а це, в свою чергу, створює сприятливі умови для популяризації української мови та культури. Це на сьогодні має надзвичайно важливе значення для формування національної свідомості, ідентичності та загалом національно-культурного розвитку України. Aims. To analyze the state of scientific development of the formation and activity of Enlightenment Organizations (named Prosvita) in Volyn in the works of modern Ukrainian researchers. Methods. The research was conducted on the basis of using the principles of historicism, objectivity and comprehensiveness of sources using methods: historiographical analysis and synthesis, problem-chronological, problem-situational and comparative. Results. On the basis of the mentioned principles and methods, the historiographic work on the history of the Prosvita society in Volyn was analyzed. A review of historiography allowed us to conclude that this issue attracts the attention of a significant number of scientists and local historians, primarily from Lutsk, Rivne and other cities of Western Ukraine. Conventionally, the main works (monographs, dissertations, scientific collections and articles) are divided into two groups: formation and development of Enlightenment Organizations in Volyn and directions of activity of the Volyn “Prosvitas”. Among the first group, it is worth noting researchers V. Baran, M. Kucherepa, S. Ponomarenko, B. Savchuk, L. Strilchuk, M. Filipovych, and others, and in the second – О. Kalishchuk, L. Ponedelnyk, T. Sladkovska, Yu. Soroka, and others. On the basis of historiographical analysis, it has been established that the majority of scientists emphasize the multidimensionality of the activities of the Volyn Enlightenment Organizations and their important role in the national and cultural development of Ukraine. Conclusions. Modern Ukrainian researchers deepen the study of the history of the Enlightenment movement in Ukraine. In recent years, the number of works on the history of the Prosvita in the regional dimension has increased. The problem of formation and directions of activities of Enlightenment Organizations in Volyn arouses considerable interest among scientists. The analysis and presentation by the authors in the studies of the forms and methods of activity of local Enlightenment centres contributes to the educational work of modern public organizations, and this, in turn, creates favorable conditions for the popularization of the Ukrainian language and culture.
