    статті аналізується процес виникнення та формування поняття жанру кіно, відокремлення та функціонування жанру трилер; пропонується умовна класифікація трилерів із перекладознавчого погляду, доводиться необхідність дослідження кінотрилерів з позицій теорії та практики перекладу на матеріалі перекладів трилерів психологічного піджанру. The article highlights the process of film genre forming, the exclusion and functioning of thriller genre are analyzed. It proposes the approximate classification of thrillers from the point of view of the translation studies. Besides, the necessity of film thriller’s research on the ground of its psychological sub-genre translations is demonstrated.
