    Робота присвячена поступовому включенню в навчальний матеріал шкільного курсу геометрії елементів метричної геометрії. Ці питання стосуються шкільної програми поглибленого вивчення математики. У роботі представлений детальний огляд окремих неевклідових геометрій, окремо розглянуто питання, що стосуються вивчення метричної геометрії, надано основні геометричні поняття, теореми та властивості метричної геометрії, а також розроблено програму факультативного курсу "Метрична гоеметрія для школярів". The work is devoted to the gradual inclusion of Metric Geometry elements in the educational material of the school geometry course. These questions relate to the school curriculum of Advanced Study of mathematics. The paper provides a detailed overview of individual non-Euclidean geometries, separately discusses issues related to the study of Metric Geometry, provides basic geometric concepts, theorems and properties of Metric Geometry, and develops the program of the optional course "Metric goemetry for schoolchildren".
