Item CORRELATION BETWEEN PERSONALITY TRAITS OF YOUNG ATHLETES AND THEIR LEVEL OF SELF- EFFICACY(2023) Halian, I.; Popovych, I. С.The purpose is to examine a correlation of personality traits of young athletes with different levels of selfefficacy components (n=114). We assume that self-efficacy of young athletes depends on their personality traits. However, there are differences in the research participants with high and low levels of self-efficacy. Research methods: correlation and cluster analyses, valid psycho-diagnostic methods, coefficients for finding statistical differences. The research conducted in Ukraine under conditions of martial law allowed obtaining significant scientific results. Results. The study looks at self-efficacy as an important component of professional training for young athletes. It substantiates the structure of self-efficacy and reveals the essence of its components: “subject activity” (SAS) and “interpersonal communication” (ICS). The research identifies a statistically significant correlation (p<.05; p<.01) of self-efficacy with personality traits of young athletes. It confirms statistically significant differences in the young athletes of Group 1 and Group 2 by scale SAS (t = 29.445, p=.000); Group I and Group II by scale ICS (t = 5.453, p=.000). The study lists traits which are equally important for the formation of self-efficacy by two components, namely: a high level of the development of sociability (R = .279, p<0.01; R = .477, p<.01); even-temperedness (R = .262, p<.01; R = .195, p<.05) and openness (R = .215, p<.05; R = .195, p<.05) and a low level of neuroticism (R = -.393, p<.01; R = -.281, p<.01); depressiveness (R = -.287, p<.01; R = -.192, p<.05) and emotional lability (R = -.454, p<.01; R = -.284, p<.01). At the same time, masculinity is important for subject activity (SAS) (R = .319, p<.01), and extraversion is important for interpersonal communication (ICS) (r = .394, p<.01). Conclusions. The obtained results show one of the methods for operationalization of the problem-solving process in professional training for athletes. Understanding of the role of personality traits in increasing self-efficacy will help trainers develop the process of preparing young athletes for competitions successfully, taking into consideration the features of their selfawareness, form their mental toughness and constructive aggression in sports. Я.The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation and empirical research of dynamic features of successful professional identity’s formation of students-psychologists in institutions of higher education. The importance of this issue is substantiated and an empirical research is held. The psychological semantic features of the formation’s stages of professionalism, professional crises during the profession of psychologist at the university are studied. The influence of educational and professional activity on professional identity is outlined. The definition of professional identity as a psychological category is concretized, which is the awareness of a specialist of his belonging to a certain profession and a certain professional community. Valid psychodiagnostic tools were used and comparative and correlation analyses of data were performed. The structure of professional identity, which combines cognitive, emotional and behavioural components, is revealed. The results of empirical research confirmed that the dynamics of successful development of professional identity of future psychologists in the learning process is the gradual formation of its structural components. Crisis tendencies in the identity of third-year students have been established. They are caused by frustration in professional and life choices, inconsistency of expectations and ideas about the profession and the realities of its acquisition. The presence of identity crisis of the third-year students was established. It is proved that professional identity is determined by the conscious choice of respondents by profession. It is verified and substantiated that students, who are characterized by the formed mature professional identity, quite consciously choose the educational trajectory and carefully complete it with selective educational components. Статтю присвячено теоретичному обґрунтуванню та емпіричному дослідженню динамічних особливостей успішного становлення професійної ідентичності студентів-психологів в закладах вищої освіти. Обґрунтовано важливість даної проблематики та проведено емпіричне дослідження. Досліджено психологічні змістові особливості етапів становлення профідентичності, професійних криз під час здобуття фаху психолога в університеті. Окреслено вплив навчально-професійної діяльності на професійну ідентичність. Конкретизовано визначення професійної ідентичності як психологічної категорії, що є усвідомленням фахівцем своєї належності до певної професії та певної професійної спільноти. Застосовано валідний психодіагностичний інструментарій та проведено порівняльний та кореляційний аналізи даних. Розкрито структуру професійної ідентичності, яка поєднала когнітивну, емоційну та поведінкову складові. Встановлено наявність кризи ідентичності у студентів третього року навчання. Доведено, що професійна ідентичність визначається усвідомленим вибором респондентами професії. Перевірено і обґрунтовано, що студенти, які характеризуються сформованою зрілою професійною ідентичністю, досить усвідомлено обирають освітню траєкторію і зважено комплектують її вибірковими освітніми компонентами.Item RESEARCH OF READINESS OF TEACHERS OF RURAL SECONDARY SCHOOLS FOR INNOVATIONS(2022) Popovych, I. С.The purpose is to establish the interdependence of key parameters and construct a factor structure of teachers’ readiness to reform and deploy innovative technologies in rural secondary schools. Research methods: ANOVA factor analysis with reduction of factor proportions, standard valid and reliable psychodiagnostics methods, statistical reliability coefficients. Results. The factor structure ensures the following main factors (73.92%). It has been found that the main are “MARI” (F1) (52.56%) and “CRI” (F2) (9.28%), which are interconnected with “SLRI” (F3) (p≤.01) and F4 “PRI” (F4) (p≤.01). Conclusions. It has been stated that the obtained scientific facts give an objective understanding of the subject of research and its determinants. The curriculum for the initiative to modernize education in rural areas is composed of established scientific facts and argumentation of the results obtained. It was noted that results will allow to operationalize the educational and professional training of future specialists in order to prepare them for modernization of training and teaching. Мета – встановити взаємозалежність ключових параметрів та побудувати факторну структуру готовності педагогів до реформування та впровадження інноваційних технологій у сільській загальноосвітній школі. Методи дослідження: факторний аналіз ANOVA з метою зменшення співрозмірності чинників, стандартні валідні та надійні психодіагностичні методи, статистичні коефіцієнти достовірності. Результати. У факторній структурі відображено такі основні фактори (73.92%). Встановлено, що основними є “MARI” (F1) (52.56%) та “CRI” (F2) (9.28%), які взаємопов’язані з “SLRI” (F3) (p≤.01) та “PRI”(F4) (p≤.01). Висновки. Встановлено, що отримані результати дають об’єктивне розуміння предмету дослідження та його детермінант. Встановлені наукові факти та обґрунтування отриманих результатів складає зміст для програми модернізації освіти на селі. Зазначено, що результати дозволять операціоналізувати освітньо-професійну підготовку майбутніх спеціалістів з метою їх готовності до модернізації навчання та викладання.Item RESEARCH ON HUBRISTIC MOTIVATION AND JUNIORS’ SELF-EFFICACY IN ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXTS(2024) Omelianiuk, S.; Popovych, I. С.This study aims to explore and substantiate correlations between hubristic motivation and parameters such as subject activity, interpersonal communication, and the drive to achieve sports results among juniors. Methods: Valid and reliable tools previously tested in sports studies involving junior samples were employed. Standard statistical coefficients were used to establish significant correlations and identify differences. Results: Hubristic motivation among juniors was examined through two dimensions—desire for perfection (DP) and desire for superiority (DS)—highlighting their impact on juniors' self-efficacy, characterized by maximalist tendencies and confidence in achieving competitive success, influencing both formal and content aspects of sporting activities. A statistical advantage of juniors in team sports (Group 1) by the parameter “desire for perfection” and the advantage of juniors in individual sports (Group 2) by the parameter “desire for superiority” were established. It was explained that team educational-training work, learning technical schemes and practicing them in training make athletes concentrate on improving their technique and constantly ascertain that a sports result depends on well-coordinated team work. Accordingly, individual sports work can take much time to analyze and compare oneself with real or probable competitors, therefore, the desire for superiority rationally and intuitively becomes dominant. It was stated that the correlation between the desire for perfection and subject activity is the strongest one. It is logical that improvement of one’s mastery is a direct way to self-efficacy and a victory result. It was established that there was no correlation between the desire for perfection and the parameter of self-efficacy “interpersonal communication”. Discussion and conclusions: It was explained that efficacy facilitates friendly and warm relationships in communication and can lower requirements for oneself and teammates in practicing tactical schemes in training. It was summarized that hubristic motivation as a dichotomous unity of the desire for perfection and the desire for superiority is one of important psychological mechanisms of the formation of a junior athlete’s personality and organization of a junior’s motivation structure.
