МОХОПОДІБНІ У ФЛОРІ СТЕПОВИХ ПЕРЕЛОГІВ ПІВНІЧНОГО ПРИЧОРНОМОР’Я
    (2021) Загороднюк, Н. В.; Zagorodnyuk N. V.
The article presents the results of a study of abandoned fields mosses in the Askania-Nova Biosphere Reserve surroundings. The fields were abandoned at various times, from 1920 to 2011. We found 26 species of mosses and 1 species of liverworts in the structure of the abandoned fields vegetation. When we compared of the bryocomplexes composition and structure that formed in different deposits, we found that the steppe moss cover recovers over time. Moss communities gradually acquired the features of steppe epigeoid bryocomplexes, but with poorer species diversity. In particular, epigeoid liverworts Riccia ciliata, R. ciliifera, R. lamellosa, R. Sorocarpa are absent in the vegetation cover of old steppe deposits. These species were previously found on the soil in the virgin grass steppes of the Askania-Nova Biosphere Reserve, and are considered an indicator of intact steppe ecosystems. The place of these species in the bryocomplexes of old steppe abandoned fields is occupied by a Cephaloziella divaricata.

В.; Ponomareva A. A.; Naumovych A. A.; Dzerkal V. M.; Zagorodnyuk N. V.
Takht, Stipacapillata L., S. Ucrainica P. Smirn., Tulipahypanica Klokovet Zoz, Pulsatillapratensis (L.) Mill.,Ephedradistachya L., Vincaherbacea Waldst. &Kit., Bellevaliasarmatica (Georgi) Voronov, Krascheninnikovia ceratoides (L.) Gueldenst., Hyacinthella leucophaea (K.Koch) Schur, Paronychia cephalotes (M. Bieb.) In the Kherson region, the southern and southwestern regions are characterized by a rather high percentage of the reserve, in particular, due to the presence of large areas of the nature reserve fund (biosphere reserves «Askania-Nova» and «Chernomorskiy», the national nature parks «Oleshkivsky Piski», «Dzharylgatsky», «Azov-Sivash» and «Nizhnedneprovsky»). And the northern and north-eastern part of the region is extremely anthropogenically transformed, so the probability of creating a large area and the category of the object is rather low. However, as a result of the research, the territory was identified, surrounded by agro-landscapes, which needs to be preserved. The presented steppe vegetation represents both typical groups and a number of groups of the Green Book of Ukraine, some species from the Red Data Book of Ukraine and the Red List of Kherson Oblast. According to the results of a study of the northern part of the Kherson region in the valley of the river. Ingulets is characterized in a sozologic respect to the value of the territory, including an aesthetic assessment of the territory within the DavydoBrodsky village council. A botanical reserve of local importance is proposed for protection, within which remains of fescue-feather grass steppes are represented. In general, on the territory of the projected object, 204 species of vascular plants were identified. 13 species are of the so- sological value (Ornithogalum boucheanum (Kunth) Asch., Gymnospermium odessanum (DC.) Takht, Stipa capillata L., S. ucrainica P. Smirn., Tulipa hypanica Klokov et Zoz, Pulsatilla pratensis (L.) Mill., Ephedra distachya L., Vinca herbacea Waldst. & Kit., Bellevalia sarmatica (Georgi) Voronov, Krascheninnikovia ceratoides (L.) Gueldenst., Hyacinthella leucophaea (K.Koch) Schur, Paronychia cephalotes (M. Bieb.) Besser., Quercus robur L.), which are included in the security lists at different levels. Also, the regionally rare moss species − Didymodon insulanus (De Not) M. Hill, Tortula canescens Mont and the fungus − Morchella steppicola Zerova (Red Data Book of Ukraine) have been identified on the territory of the projected botanical reserve.
