Abstract
У книзі висвітлено вплив воєнних дій на природу національного при- родного парку «Кам’янська Січ» (Херсонська область). Показано розвиток парку з часу його створення у 2019 році до початку повномасштабного вторгнення російських окупаційних військ в Україну. За документовано етапи існування Парку і діяльності його співробітників під час окупа- ції та після визволення. Охарактеризовано основні воєнні фактори впли- ву на екосистеми Парку. Окремим розділом окреслено вплив підриву Ка- ховської ГЕС на біотопи Парку. Надані юридичні аспекти, які пов’язані із екоцидом, злочинами проти довкілля та досвідом відшкодування збитків завданих Парку. Показано перспективи розширення Парку та різні сце- нарії його подальшого розвитку. Книга написана у науково-популярному стилі і розрахована на фахівців у галузі заповідної справи та природо- охоронної діяльності, природничих наук, правознавства, а також школя- рів, студентів та широкої громадськості.
The book covers the impact of military operations on the Kamianska Sich National Nature Park (Kherson region). It shows the development of the park since its establishment in 2019 up to the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian occupation forces. It outlines the different stages of the Park’s existence and the activities of its employees during the occupation and after the liberation.
The main military factors affecting the Park’s ecosystems are described. A separate section describes the impact of the Kakhovka dam explosion on the Park’s habitats.
The legal aspects related to ecocide, crimes against the environment, and the experience of compensation for damage caused to the Park. The book concludes with the prospects of the Park’s expansion and different scenarios of its future development. Written in a popular science style, the book is intended for specialists in nature conservation, environmental sciences, and law, as well as schoolchildren, students and other general public.
