    В досліджені, з використанням методики усної історії, здійснено спробу визначити та проаналізувати стратегії виживання, що застосовувалися мешканцями Херсона в умовах окупації; охарактеризовано історіографію питання окупації Херсона у 2022 році; унаочнено життєві виклики та способи їхнього подолання; проаналізовано навчальні програми та підручники з історії Україні щодо відображення подій російсько-української війни, зокрема з акцентом на особливостях інтерпретації окупації Херсона у шкільному курсі. In the work, using the oral history methodology, attempted to identify and analyse the survival strategies used by the residents of Kherson under occupation; characterized the historiography of the issue of the occupation of Kherson in 2022; visualized life challenges and ways to overcome them; analysed curricula and textbooks on the history of Ukraine regarding the reflection of the events of the Russian-Ukrainian war, in particular with an emphasis on the peculiarities of the interpretation of the occupation of Kherson in the school course.
