    У роботі розглянуто вікові та психолого-педагогічні особливості розвитку творчих здібностей дітей старшого дошкільного віку. Було визначено сутність поняття сюжетно-рольової гри та її роль у розвитку творчих здібностей у дітей дошкільного віку. Було обґрунтовано педагогічні засади використання сюжетно-рольових ігор, запропоновано педагогічну методику розвитку творчих здібностей дітей старшого дошкільного віку, та експериментально досліджено її результативність. / The paper considers the age and psychological and pedagogical features of the development of creative abilities of older preschool children. The essence of the concept of plot-role play and its role in the development of creative abilities in preschool children was determined. The pedagogical bases of the use of plot-role games were substantiated, the pedagogical method of development of creative abilities of children of senior preschool age was offered, and its efficiency was experimentally investigated.
