Є.The lichens involved in processes biological weathering on the marbles and limestones of ancient cities in the southern part of Ukraine - Olvia, Khersones and Pantikapey - have been studied. 11 species of lichens with comparatively small degree of overgrown were found out on Twenty-eight species of lichen, belonging to 11 genera and 8 families, were encountered. On marble columns and plinths only 11 species were found, all with a comparatively small degree of cover. In contrast, limestone walls were colonized by 26 species of lichens, which had a large coverage on horizontal surfaces. The main factors affecting the distribution of lichens on marble and limestone substrata are: age of the stonework, inclination of the surfaces, degree of exposure and surface morphology. Inclination of surface is the main factor of limestone, whereas surface morphology is the main factor on marble. It was shown that two types of mesopits are formed under lichens on the surface of limestone damaged by lichens.Item НОВІ ДЛЯ УКРАЇНИ ВИДИ РОДУ SACCOMORPHA ELENKIN (LICHENES, ASCOMYCOTINA)(1997) Ходосовцев, О. Є.Item ЛИШАЙНИКИ НА ПАМ'ЯТНИКАХ АНТИЧНОСТІ АРХЕОЛОГІЧНОГО ЗАПОВІДНИКА "ОЛЬВІЯ"(1996) Ходосовцев, О. Є.; Ходосовцев, А. Е.; Khodosovtsev, А. Е.Изучены лишайники, участвующие в процессе биологического выветривания на мраморных и известняковых археологических памятниках античного города «Ольвия». Отмечены 32 вида лишайников, принадлежащих к 13 родам и 8 семействам. На мраморном археологическом материале найдено только 13 видов с относительно небольшой степенью обрастания, тогда как на известняковых стенах — 31 вид с большим проективным покрытием на горизонтальных поверхностях. Среди главных факторов, влияющих на распределение лишайников на мраморном и известняковом субстратах, отмечены: возраст памятника, степень освещенности, наклон и морфологическое строение поверхности. Основным фактором на известняках выступает наклон ловерхности, тогда как на мраморе — морфологическое строение поверхности. Рекомендовано дифференцировать два типа мезоуглублений (internal and external mesopitting), формирующихся под действием лишайников на известняковых поверхностях. Є.Отмечено большое участие бореальных (19) и неморальных (20) видов лишайников, связанных с лесными типами растительности. Преобладание эвриголарктических видов (28) объясняется наличием различных типов растительности и антропогенных субстратов. On the territory of the Black Sea biosphere reservation 80 species of lichens belonged to 39 genera and 18 families have been found. The lichens are arrenged on the areas: Ivano-Rybatchansky (52), Volyzyn forest (43), Tendra Spit (42), Solenoozerny (41), Yagorlytzky Kut (18), Potievka (13). New and rare In Ukrainian step-zone lichens have been discovered In the reservation: Arthonia radiata (Pers.) Ach., Chaenotheca trichialis (Ach.) Th. Fr., Micarea denigrata (Fr.) Hedl., Cladonia cenotea (Ach.) Schaer., Lecania zinaidae Oxn., Phlyctis argena (Spreng.) Flot., Lepraria incana (L.) Ach. Great participation of the nemorose (20) and boreal (19) lichens species conected with forest areas. Prevalens of the spreadwide In Golarctik species of lichens (28) can be explained by vegetation existens of different types and anthropic substrates. Arid species (9) have been found in sandy and spits.Item CALOPLACA SCYTHICA, A NEW SPECIES FROM SOUTHERN UKRAINE(1998) S0CHTING, U.; KHODOSOVTSEV, A.; KARNEFELT, I.; Ходосовцев, О. Є.Caloplaca scythica Khodosovtsev & Sechting is described from Ukrainian Artemisia - Festuca steppes near the Black Sea. It grows on twigs of small shrubs of Halocnemum strobilaceum and Limonium sp. on salty soils, and is characterized by greenish grey areoles or squamules with punctiform to confluent soralia and zeorine apothecia with a conspicuous white pruina.
