Проаналізовано основні тенденції розвитку абревіації як динамічного компонента мовної системи. The article deals with the linguistic and extralinguistic factors that predetermined the emergency of shortened words. The article also describes the analysis of major tendencies of the development of the abbreviation as the dynamic component of the language system.
У статті проаналізовано процес номінації засобами абревіації, визначено основні особливості абревіації як процесу номенотворчості, досліджено функціонування абревіатур у текстах різних стилів. The process of nomination by means of abbreviation has been analyzed in the article. The main abbreviation peculiarities as a process of nomination activities have been defined. The functioning of abbreviations in the texts of different stiles has been learned.
