Наукова робота студентів розглядається як система методів, засобів і заходів підготовки творчої особистості, формування ціннісного відношення до творчої діяльності, розвитку дослідницької компетентності й наукової творчості. In the article the different approaches to the definition of "research and development", "teaching and research activity." Students’ scientific and research work’ is examined as the system of methods, means and arrangements of training the creative person, formation the value attitude to the creative activity and development of the investigative awareness and scientific creativity.

    Досліджували особливості формування та розуміння у студентів науково-дослідних умінь та практичного використання набутих дослідницьких знань. Було виявлено недостатню мотиваційну і змістову складові структури навчально-дослідних і науково-дослідних вмінь у студентів біологів і екологів, що зумовлено відсутністю однозначного розуміння поняття «науково-дослідні вміння» і знань про послідовність етапів наукового пошуку. Studied features of research abilities and practical use of the purchased research knowledges in the students. It was discovered insufficient motivational and semantic component structures educational-experimental and research abilities for the students of biologists and environmentalists, that predefined by absence of the synonymous understanding of concept «research abilities» and knowledges about the sequence of the stages of scientific search.
