    Analysis of Coherence in EEGs of Hard-of-Hearing Teenagers

    According to the data of analysis of coherence indices of the frequency components of background EEGs of hard-of-hearing teenagers (12 to 15 years), the latter are characterized by a greater spatial regularity of delta- and theta-range oscillations in various cerebral cortex regions, as compared with the coherence in normalhearing teenagers of the same age. This fact can be a manifestation of profound localization of generators structures initiating this slow-wave EEG activity. No clear focus of activity was found for the alpha range of hard-of-hearing teenagers; at the same time, considerable levels of coherence of alpha oscillations were observed in spatially remote cortical zones. This feature shows that the alpha-frequency activity can also be initiated, to a considerable extent, from one source localized in subcortical structures.

    ВПЛИВ ГІПЕРВЕНТИЛЯЦІЇ НА АКТИВНІСТЬ ГОЛОВНОГО МОЗКУ ПРИГЛУХУВАТИХ ПІДЛІТКІВ

    У статті наведені результати дослідження коркової ритміки приглухуватих підлітків у відповідь на гіпервентиляцію. Показано, що на ЕЕГ приглухуватих підлітків частіше у порівнянні з підлітками, що нормально чують у відповідь на гіпервентиляцію збільшувалися повільно хвильові ритми і з’являлися білатерально-синхронні спалахи тате-діапазону переважно у передніх відділах. В статье приведены результаты исследования корковой ритмики тугоухих подростков в ответ на гипервентиляцию. Показано, что на ЭЭГ тугоухих подростков чаще по сравнению с подростками, которые нормально слышат в ответ на гипервентиляцию увеличивались медленноволновые ритмы и появлялись билатерально-синхронные вспышки тетадиапазона преимущественно в передних отведениях. In the article the results of research of changes of crust ritmiki are resulted in reply to the hiperventilation of off-hear teenagers. It is rotined that on EEG off-hear teenagers as compared to normal yearlings teenagers more frequent there is an answer for an hiperventilation as a diffuse increase of slow waves rhythms and appearance of flashes of teta-range mainly in the front taking.
