    NEOLEXEMS WITH THE VIP COMPONENT IN THE MODERN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

    The article establishes the historical and linguistic origin of the abbreviation VIP, analyzes the creation of original neolexes with this abbreviation, the lexical meaning of derived units with the estimated token-component VIP, which in the last two decades founded the word-formation system of the Ukrainian language. It is stated that social, political, economic changes in society at the beginning of the XXI century significantly influenced the development of language and contributed to the emergence of new objects, phenomena, concepts, in accordance with the new words for their names. The derivational potential of a neolexem with a VIP component and their lexical-semantic typology are established. It is proved that noun derivatives note the greatest ability to name concepts in any field, to reflect the diversity of a significant range of conceptual areas. The abbreviation VIP is used to know famous statesmen and politicians, influential officials, famous people from world culture and art, people who occupy the necessary society or service residents, have power, influence. That is why it was first combined with nouns - people were called. Later, this abbreviation began to be combined with nouns to denote other names of the Ukrainian language. The analyzed factual material made it possible to create a high frequency of placement of the abbreviation M, which creates derivative words that create a unified world dwelling to indicate the highest degree of detection of signs. У статті встановлено історико-лінгвістичне походження абревіатури VIP, проаналізовано творення похідних неолексем з цією абревіатурою, з’ясовано лексичне значення похідних одиниць з оцінною лексемою-компонентом VIP, що в останні двоє десятиріч освоюється словотвірною системою української мови, оцінено відповідність таких утворень нормам української літературної мови. Констатовано, що соціальні, політичні, економічні зміни у суспільстві на початку ХХІ сторіччя суттєво вплинули на розвиток мови і сприяли виникненню нових предметів, явищ, понять, а відповідно – і нових слів для їх називання. Встановлено дериваційний потенціал неолексем із компонентом VIP та їхню лексико-семантичну типологію. Доведено, що іменникові деривати відзначаються найбільшою здатністю номінувати поняття в будь-якій галузі, відображати різноманіття значеннєвого спектру поняттєвої сфери. Абревіатура VIP уживається для позначення відомих державних і політичних діячів, впливових чиновників, знаменитих людей зі світу культури та мистецтва, осіб, які посідають важливе суспільне або службове становище, мають владу, вплив. Саме тому її й поєднували спочатку з іменниками – назвами осіб. Пізніше ця абревіатура почала поєднуватися з іменниками на позначення інших назв української мови. Аналізований фактичний матеріал дав змогу констатувати високу частотність уживання абревіатури, з якою утворюються похідні слова, що стають об’єктом свідомого вживання на позначення найвищого ступеня вияву ознаки.

    The relevance of researching the synergy of journalists’ acquisition of speech and social-communicative competences lies in the fact that the need to increase the level of speech and social- communicative competences has been brought to the forefront by new economic and social conditions. A bigb linguistic culture is very important both for a developed economy and for success in management, because, firstly. the solution of many management tasks is based on direct interaction of people in different situations. Second, interpersonal communication is the best n ay to discuss and solve problems that are characterized by uncertainty and ambiguity. The social task of the modern information society is to educate the younger generation, which is oriented in the field of mass media and "speaks" its language. For a young person of the 21st century, it is very important to know about the events and processes taking place in the world, country, city, to be able to analyze and evaluate these events and processes in order to have their own activity to form a position. The article explores the ways journalists acquire communicative competence; the need for functional and structural-educational models of mass communication means in the acquisition of speech and social-communicative competences by journalists is presented; professional social-communicative competence of journalistic activity is singled out; foundations of the synergy of journalists' acquisition of speech and social-communicative competences are determined.

    EXTRA-LINGUISTIC FACTORS AND TENDENCIES OF ACTIVATION OF MILITARY VOCABULARY IN UKRAINIAN MASS MEDIA

    The article characterizes the most used tokens in the texts of modern Ukrainian mass media, reveals new and with new variants of meanings lexical units, traces the expansion of the scope of military tokens not only in specialized media, but also in texts on socio-political, economic, and other spheres of activities; the functional and stylistic role of this vocabulary in the language of mass media is determined and its negative assessment in journalistic materials is emphasized. To study military vocabulary in the Ukrainian mass media of the early 21st century, we used descriptive method as the main method of observation. At different stages of the research, the method of functional analysis was applied, which allowed determining the stylistic load of lexical units. It was found that due to a number of extralinguistic factors of socio-political orientation (annexation of Crimea, Russian-Ukrainian conflict in eastern Ukraine), the modern Ukrainian language was supplemented by new tokens, and well-known nominations of this meaningful variety for persons, actions, processes, states, etc. were updated, which is reflected in the media of the second and early third decades of the 21st century. The tokens for naming individuals, groups and territories have become the most popular. Under the influence of extralingual factors, many new abbreviations have emerged. Often the analyzed tokens have a negative color, contrast with neutral vocabulary and at the same time serve as a means of attracting the reader's attention.
