Item DISPOSITIONAL DETERMINANTS OF MENTAL TENSION IN FUTURE COACHES(2025) Halian, I.; Popovych, I.; Mykhailyuk, I.; Halian, A.; Kononenko, A.; Kruglov, K.; Hoian, I.; Попович, І. С.he aim of the study was to examine the level of mental tension experienced by future coaches–athletes and how it is influenced by emotional exhaustion and professional orientation, with a sample size of 100 participants. Methods: The study used validated psycho-diagnostic tools, descriptive statistics, normality tests (Kolmogorov– Smirnov and Shapiro–Wilk), regression analysis, effect size measurement (Cohen's d), and statistical significance coefficients. Results: Using the Mann–Whitney test on the Psychological Stress Scale (PSM-25), significant differences in mental tension were found between future coaches of different specializations and genders (p < .01; d = −1.252). Significant differences were identified in occupational burnout components measured by the Maslach Burnout Inventory – Educators Survey (MBI-ES): Emotional exhaustion (p < .01; d = −0.904), depersonalization (p < .01; d = −0.454), and reduced personal accomplishment (p < .01; d = −0.666). Professional orientation was evaluated using the Bass Orientation Inventory, revealing significant effects in personal orientation (p < .01; d = −0.951) and task orientation (p < .01; d = 0.774). Multiple regression analysis was applied to forecast causal relationships between mental tension, emotional exhaustion, and professional orientation in future coaches-athletes of different specializations. Independent variables include the following indicators of the test “MBI-ES”: emotional exhaustion (EE), depersonalization (Dp), reduction in personal achievements (RPA), and “Bass Orientation Inventory”: рersonal orientation (PO), task orientation (TO), collectivist orientation (CO). Regression analysis results allowed us to create a model that accounts for a fairly large share of predictors in determining the dependent variable (R2 = .773, p = .001). The predictor “emotional exhaustion” with β = 3.111, SE = .230, t = 13.544, and p = .000 has the largest share in the model. The share of this predictor in the model is 43.6 %. The predictor “task orientation” with β = -3.240, SE = .326, t = -9.948, and p = .000 shows a negative effect on mental tension. The share of this predictor in the model is 23.3%. The predictor “depersonalization” with a negative effect on the variability of the dependent variable (β = -1.252, SE = .338, t = -3.703, p = .000) has the smallest share in the model. The share of this predictor in the model is 3.24%. Discussion and conclusions: It was found that future female coaches-athletes generally demonstrate higher levels of psychological stress, emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization compared to boys. At the same time, male coaches-athletes are more prone to reflection and less prone to reduction in personal achievements. Emotional exhaustion is a key predictor of mental tension in coaches-athletes, which is corroborated by regression analysis results. Task orientation and depersonalization are the predictors that negatively affect the variability of the dependent variable. Research into future coaches-athletes’ behavior in extreme situations depending on their personality structure, types of sports, professional experience, and level of sports mastery seems promising.Item PHYSICAL FITNESS ASSESSMENT OF YOUNG FOOTBALL PLAYERS USING AN INTEGRATED APPROACH(2021) Strykalenko, Y.; Huzar, V.; Shalar, O.; OLOSHYNOV, S.; HOMENKO, V.; SVIRIDA, V.; Шалар, О. Г.; Стрикаленко, Є. А.; Гузар, В.The aim of the article is to study the level of physical fitness of young football players using an integrated approach.Materials: young football players aged 12-13 participated in the study. The total number of football players who participated in the study was 40 pupils. The study of the general and specific physical fitness level using an integrated approach was conducted under the same conditions, which is a necessary component in the objectivity of final results. As a set of tests we have specially chosen those that are a part of the program for children and youth sports football schools, determine the level of development of the main leading motor abilities of football players, reveal the features of their manifestation during the exercise training. Results: assessment criteria were worked out and assessment criteria using an integrated approach were calculated for all tests that base on the program for specialized football sports institutions. Improvment of the positive tendency level of general and special physical conditioning of young athletes was revealed. Thus, with regard to overall physical fitness, it was found that high and above average levels of training improved by 20.0%. Low and below average levels decreased by 25.0% among young football players.Similar changes in indicators occurred when comparing the complex assessment of the special fitness of young football players. High and above average indicators increased by 25.0%, but low and below average indicators decreased by 35.0%.It is established that the difference between the initial and final results of an integrated assessment of physical fitness proved reliable. Thus, changes in indicators of general physical fitness were 40.6 points (t = 3.762 at p <0.05), and changes in indicators of special physical fitness were 17.6 points (t = 3.716 at p<0.05). Conclusions: the use of an integrated approach for the overall assessment of the physical conditioning level allows coaches to obtain an objective picture of the young football players’ fitness, as well as to influence the training process quickly and efficiently, with an emphasis on those motor qualities that need further growth. That is, there is every reason to consider the end of the preparatory training period for young football players to be positive. The purpose of the study is to identify the leading personality features of a yoga coach. The article is also aimed at examining the features of temperament, levels of empathy and motivation abilities of trainers. Materials and methods. The study involved 9 yoga instructors aged 27-50 years (5 women and 4 men). Results. By conducting current research it was found out that 45% of respondents with a high level of extraversion and the same number of trainers with a high level of introversion were identified. In addition, ambivert was revealed (10%), which determines a person with tolerance for uncertainty. Conditionally, three equal groups of trainers are established (33.3% each) with the presence of rigidity and plasticity. The first group of coaches was with a high level of rigidity, which indicates the difficulty of restructuring in certain circumstances. The second was characterized by a high level of plasticity. And the third group with an average level of plasticity and rigidity, which indicates the ease of adapting to changeable circumstances, depending on the situation. The absence of coaches with a high level of empathy was proved. Among yoga coaches 22.2% with an average level of empathy were identified; 66.7% with a low level of empathy and 11.1% with a very low level. It is revealed that almost all coaches had motivation for success. Only one yoga instructor did not show the motivational indicators. Conclusions. From the prospects of further research conducting, the attention of the scientists should be draw to the study of the factors that determine the effective communication of yoga trainers with modern athletes.
