    СТАНОВЛЕННЯ ГРАФІЧНОЇ ЛІНГВІСТИКИ ЯК КОМПЛЕКСНОЇ НАУКИ: АНАЛІТИЧНИЙ ОГЛЯД

    У статті простежено передумови виникнення та етапи становлення графічної лінгвістики як комплексної науки про письмо, а також визначено її найменшу конститутивну одиницю – графему. Висвітлено зміст понять письмо, графіка, графеміка, графетика. Установлено, що графічна лінгвістика, як "парасольковий" термін, охоплює суміжні наукові напрями, що мають спільний об’єкт дослідження – письмо, однак різняться своїм предметом дослідження. Акцентовано увагу на доцільності виокремлення окремого мовного рівня – графічного, та особливостях прояву і функціонування його конституентів у постмодерністському художньому тексті. The article highlights prerequisites for the formation and evolution of graphic linguistics as a separate science whose object is script and whose smallest constituent unit is the grapheme. It also elucidates the contents of such notions as graphics, graphemics, and graphetics. Special attention is accorded to the fact that graphic linguistics is an umbrella term which encompasses adjacent linguistic sciences all of which share the common object of investigation (script) but differ in their subjects of investigation. The article focuses on the formation of the graphic level and its constituent units functioning in postmodern text formation.
