Item РОЛЬ ЄВРЕЙСЬКОГО НАСЕЛЕННЯ У СОЦІАЛЬНО-ЕКОНОМІЧНОМУ РОЗВИТКУ ОДЕСЬКОГО ПОВІТУ ХЕРСОНСЬКОЇ ГУБЕРНІЇ КІН. ХІХ – ПОЧ. ХХ СТ.(2022) Дробний, В. С.; Drobnyj, V. S.Мета. Дослідження соціально-економічного розвитку Півдня сучасної України потребує комплексного аналізу ролі національних груп у розвитку різних галузей господарської діяльності населення. З огляду на переважно сільськогосподарську форму діяльності більшості поселян доцільним є аналіз впливу юдейського населення як каталізатора приватно-економічного розвитку селянства Одеського повіту. Аналіз розвитку господарств є важливим аспектом у дослідженні загальноекономічної ситуації в регіоні. Дослідження діяльності єврейських громад у містечках та селах Одеського повіту у зазначеному питанні є важливим аспектом у разі його детального висвітлення. Одним з аспектів діяльності зазначених громад є зосередження у поселеннях з переважно іудейським населенням у другій половині ХІХ ст. основних торговельних точок для скупки та перепродажу товарного зерна та товарів, пов’язаних з цим. Окреслено типи та різновиди товарів, визначена кількість специфічних товарів, продаж яких зосереджувався в руках іудеїв. Досліджено участь єврейської громади у соціально-економічного розвитку повіту й особливості їх залучення до господарської діяльності українських та німецьких поселень. Окрім цього, у статті висвітлені такі аспекти існування юдейських громад повіту, як основні кредитори населення та умови надання ними позик селянам, становище юдеїв під час складної політико-соціальної ситуації, що склалася в період хвилі антиєврейських погромів 80-х рр. ХІХ ст. у Російській імперії. Аналіз статистичних робіт та наявних архівних джерел за тематикою дослідження дозволить детально висвітлити становище населення у окреслений період. Методи. В основі дослідження лежать джерелознавчі методи виявлення, аналізу та оцінки джерел. Застосовуються методи історичного дослідження, зокрема історико-порівняльний, за допомогою яких було встановлено коло статистичних джерел, необхідних для висвітлення теми. Результати. Дослідження особливостей розвитку юдейських громад, котрі існували на півдні України у складі поселень зазначеного повіту, дозволяє зробити висновок про їхню активну економічну діяльність, котра своєю чергою спонукала до економічної активності сусіднє з ним німецьке та українське населення. Аналіз статистичних даних, зібраних Одеською повітовою управою, дозволив нам проаналізувати основні аспекти діяльності місцевого юдейства як за основними економічними напрямами загалом, так і в контексті розвитку чотирьох найбільших юдейських громад повіту. Окремо у статті висвітлено такий аспект діяльності юдейських общин, як кредитування населення. Наведені у статті дані дозволяють прослідкувати специфіку становлення та розвитку юдейських громад у поселеннях повіту, змін основних занять у їхніх общинах. Висвітлено аспект протидії місцевою адміністрацією спробам погромів у поселеннях, де проживали юдеї. Висновки. Проаналізовано економічний та соціальний аспекти існування юдейських громад на території Одеського повіту. Визначено основні особливості економічної діяльності іудеїв у поселеннях повіту, їх становище під час антиєврейських виступів 80-х рр. ХІХ ст. Purpose. The study of socio-economic development of the South of modern Ukraine requires a comprehensive analysis of the role of different national groups in the development of various sectors of economic activity. Given the predominantly agricultural form of activity of most settlements, it is advisable to analyze the influence of the Jewish population as a catalyst for private and economic development of the peasantry of Odessa district. Analysis of farm development is an important aspect in the study of the general economic situation in the region. The study of the activities of Jewish communities in the towns and villages of Odessa district in the outlined issue is an important aspect in its detailed coverage. One of the aspects of the activities of these communities is the concentration in settlements with a predominantly Jewish population, in the second half of the nineteenth century, the main outlets for the purchase and resale of commodity grain and related goods. Types and varieties of goods are outlined, determined the number of specific goods whose sales were concentrated in the hands of the Jews. The participation of the Jewish community in the socio-economic development of the county and the peculiarities of their involvement in the economic activities of Ukrainian and German settlements have been studied. In addition, the article covers such aspects of the existence of Jewish communities in the county as the main creditors and conditions of their loans to peasants and the situation of Jews during the difficult political and social situation during the anti-Jewish pogroms of the 80’s in the Russian Empire. The analysis of statistical works and available archival sources on the subject of the research will allow to cover in detail the situation of the population in the outlined period. Methods. The study is based on source studies methods for identifying, analyzing and evaluating sources. Methods of historical research are used, in particular historical-comparative, which were used to establish the range of statistical sources needed to cover the topic. Results. The study of the peculiarities of the development of Jewish communities that existed in the South of Ukraine as part of the settlements of the studied county, allows us to conclude about their active economic activity, which in turn encouraged economic activity neighboring German and Ukrainian populations. The analysis of statistical data collected by the Odessa County Administration allowed us to analyze the main aspects of local Judaism, both in the main economic areas in general and in the context of the development of the four largest Jewish communities in the county. The article covers such an aspect of the activities of Jewish communities as lending to the population. The data presented in the article allow us to trace the specifics of the formation and development of Jewish communities in the settlements of the county, changes in the main occupations in their communities. The aspect of counteraction to the local administration’s attempts at pogroms in the settlements where Jews lived is highlighted. Conclusions. Ураховуючи багатопланову, різноманітну форму діяльності єврейського товариства Одеси, аналіз розвитку участі євреїв у міському самоуправлінні, освіті господарств є важливим аспектом в дослідженні загальної ситуації в Одесі. Дослідження громадської діяльності одеського товариства в окресленому питанні є важливим аспектом при його детальному висвітленні. Одним із аспектів діяльності означеного товариства наприкінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст. стали управління, освіта та інші аспекти єврейського життя в Одесі. Аналіз кола періодичних видань за тематикою дослідження дозволить детально висвітлити становище єврейського населення Одеси. В основі дослідження лежать джерелознавчі методи виявлення, аналізу та оцінки джерел. Застосовуються методи історичного дослідження, зокрема історико-порівняльний, за допомогою яких було встановлено коло газетних джерел, необхідних для висвітлення теми. Результати та наукова новизна дослідження. Дослідження громадської діяльності одеського єврейського товариства дозволяє зробити висновок про активну діяльність єврейського товариства в галузі управління, освіти, зв’язків з Палестиною у кінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст. Висвітлено питання участі євреїв в міському суспільному управлінні. Висвітлена багаторічна плідна робота гласного думи Р.Л. Харі. Описано вибори гласних-євреїв та затвердження їх градоначальником. Аналізується деякі моменти розвитку єврейської освіти в Одесі. Наведено назви закладів, прізвища освітян-євреїв. Перелічено проблеми єврейських освітніх закладів. Відзначено ювілярів, розказано про їхню діяльність, кар’єру. Описано діяльність ювіляра – діяча єврейського сирітського будинку. Показано процес формування принципу розподілу позик серед поселян. Детально описано дві літературні премії, їх назви, вартість, положення, теми, джерела фінансування, терміни подачі творів. Показано роботу товариства допомоги євреям-землеробам у Палестині. Наведено факти із життя євреїв-землеробів в Палестині та Сирії. Описано їхні проблеми та досягнення у викладі агронома товариства. The issue of Jewish participation in the city’s public administration is covered. It is told about the long-term fruitful work of the public Duma RL Harry. The election of Jewish vowels and their approval by the mayor are described. Some moments of the development of Jewish education in Odessa are analyzed. The names of institutions, the names of Jewish educators are given. The problems of Jewish educational institutions are listed. Anniversaries were celebrated, their activities and careers were told. The activity of the jubilee figure of the Jewish orphanage is described. The process of formation of the principle of distribution of loans among the settlements is shown. Two literary prizes are described in detail, their titles, cost, provisions, topics, sources of funding, deadlines. The work of the Society of Aid to Jewish Farmers in Palestine is shown. The facts from the life of Jewish farmers in Palestine and Syria are given. Their problems and achievements in the presentation of the agronomist of the society are described.
