    Статтю присвячено вивченню функціональних особливостей англійських власних назв у художніх творах. Вивчаються дефініції власних назв (онімів), їх функціональні особливості у художніх текстах. Надається детальна класифікаціяурбанонімів, наведено приклади на матеріалі роману П. Роутфусса «Ім’я вітру». The article deals with the studyingthe functional peculiarities of English proper names in the artistic works. It studies the definitions of proper names (onyms), their functional peculiarities in literary texts. The article includes a detailed classification of urbanonyms. The examples that are given are based on the material ofthe novel “The Name of the Wind” by Patrick Rothfuss.
