Abstract
Об’єктом дослідження є регіональна історія як чільна складова історії
України, метою роботи – аналіз історіографічної, методологічної та джерельної
бази вивчення регіональної історії України. У звіті з науково-дослідної роботи
«Регіональна історія України: історіографія, методологія та джерельна база»
здійснено узагальнення та комплексний аналіз історіографічних, методологічних
та джерельних основ історичної регіоналістики в контексті формування модерної
концепції історії України.
Колектив виконавців ретельно проаналізував історіографічний доробок
вітчизняної історіографії у дослідженні історії основних історико-географічних
регіонів України і виділив провідні тенденції, оцінив здобутки, прорахунки та
резерви. У звіті систематизовано сучасні уявлення про методологію історичної
регіоналістики і наголошено на необхідності комплексного використання
модерних методологічних підходів. В основі таких підходів знаходяться
принципи плюралізму та додатковості.
Аналіз джерельної бази дозволяє стверджувати, що успіхи в дослідженні
специфіки історичного поступу обумовлені системним використанням
максимально можливого обсягу джерел на базі послідовної наукової зовнішньої
і внутрішньої критики. Результати роботи відображені у наукових публікаціях
відповідальних виконавців – співробітників кафедри історії, археології та
методики викладання.
The object of the study is regional history as a key component of Ukrainian
history, with the aim of analysing the historiographic, methodological, and sourcebased survey of Ukraine’s regional history.
The report on the research project “Regional History of Ukraine: Historiography,
Methodology, and Source Base” presents a comprehensive and thorough analysis of
the historiographic, methodological, and source foundations of historical regional
studies in the context of shaping a modern concept of Ukrainian history.
The research team conducted a rigorous and comprehensive examination of the
historiographic contributions of Ukrainian scholarship in studying the history of
Ukraine’s major historical-geographical regions. This involved identifying key trends,
assessing achievements, shortcomings, and potential areas for further inquiry. The
report systematizes current perspectives on the methodology of historical regionalism
and emphasizes the need for a comprehensive application of modern methodological
approaches, all based on the principles of pluralism and complementarity.
An analysis of the source base suggests that successes in studying the specifics of
historical development are conditioned by the systematic use of the maximum possible
volume of sources, grounded in consistent external and internal scholarly criticism. The
credibility and impact of the research are further validated by the reflection of its
findings in scientific publications authored by the responsible contributors - faculty
members of the Department of History, Archaeology, and Teaching Methodology.
